Christmas Competition

Horrendous weather meant the postponement of the Christmas Competition last Saturday and we plan to play it this Saturday. 

At present there are five three balls so if you are looking for a game book in online or give the shop a call. We didn't miss the deluge that seem to hit most of the country on Monday when over 1 ½ inches of rain fell in 24 hours! 

We did get a new water feature on the 17th hole! 

New Stock - just in time

It has been a busy time in the shop with some great new stock arriving just in time for Christmas. 

After a long awaited launch the new SkyCaddie Linx GT watch has arrived in store. I haven't enough space to explain all the features of the revolutionary GPS watch system. 

But basically by attaching a smart tag to each of your clubs the watch and SkyCaddie software on your phone tracks every shot with each club giving you unbelievable information to help improve you game - oh yes it tells the time as well!

Club Knockouts

You may have seen the note in the Golf Club newsletter this week about entries for next summer's knockout competitions. 

We are going to be taking entries from Saturday 10th December; several weeks earlier than in recent years, with the deadline for entries being Monday 6th March 2017. This change will enable the draws to be completed earlier and in turn give longer deadlines for matches in the first two rounds of the competitions.
