This weekend

We have a 666 competition this weekend, which will actually be a 555 competition over 15 holes.

We will miss out 10,11 & 12 with one score to count on the first 5, two scores to count on the second 5 and three scores to count on the last 5 holes. Teams of four ¾ handicap or full handicap for teams of three.


 

Carry only policy 

The first real rainfall of the winter this week meant we had a carry only policy in place on Wednesday. 

This was lifted on Thursday but we would ask as many of you as possible to carry this weekend if at all possible. Should we get any more rain please be prepared for it to be carrying only.

Ladies Captain's new year lunch

Darren continues to settle in well in the kitchen and it was good to see the clubhouse full on Saturday for The Ladies Captain's New Year lunch.

Sunday lunches continue this week, Sunday 5 February. It is a smart casual week so if you want to book contact Darren directly or speak to any member of the team to make a booking.

Mid - week Gastro Night

The first Moortown Mid-Week Gastro Night will take place on Wednesday 15 February and will continue on a weekly basis depending on popularity and other events -

Two Courses for Two People all for £20.00 - Three Courses for Two People all for £25.00 sounds like a bargain to me so come along and hopefully we get a buzz in the clubhouse on Wednesday evenings.

AGM

It's coming around to that time of year again and it's the AGM on Saturday 18 February. This means it will be Captain's Drive-In on Sunday 19 February.

New stock is arriving

In the shop all the new stock is arriving, FootJoy and Ecco shoes, the new PING Ladies range of clubs and the new Pro V1 and Pro V1X.

All very exciting and with only 4 weeks to the start of the new season and the first official competition of the year I can't wait for 2017.
