Well, we’re back, sort of, the BRS booking didn’t go into melt down on Tuesday at 5pm, but if we ever needed any evidence that you have been missing your golf the tee sheet for the first five days are pretty conclusive evidence. Obviously, you have all received the guidelines from the club. I believe that golf has a very important role to play over the next few weeks, and the whole of golf needs to comply as there will be plenty wanting to highlight golfers flaunting the rules. The last thing the game needs is bad publicity, even Tiger Woods most remarkable comeback winning The Masters last year didn’t get as much national TV coverage as golf being allowed to restart. |
I have taken the decision that the pro shop will remain closed, we will obviously be on site every day monitoring the tee. If you require anything from the shop, contact me by email or text/WhatsApp and we will leave in the waiting area in a bag just prior to your tee time with your name on it. The goods will be deducted from your Pro Shop account. If you do not have any credit in the shop, I am still offering the 10% bonus for top up’s over £100 and 15% over £1,000 until the end of May, and if you just want to put a nominal amount on for incidental purchases then this can also be done either by bank transfer, or by calling the shop and using a card over the phone. I have also decided not to do any coaching until the Government’s next stage in June (obviously dependent on any changes in the curve). Eddie and I will start teaching outside from June and will hopefully commence fittings and coaching in the studio in the next phase from July, all dependent like everything on how things progress. |
